Keynotes from the scheduled Speakers:

  • Troy H. Myers, Jr., Esquire — Preservation of a family's accumulation of wealth has become more important in this challenging economy. Effective plans for preservation of assets should begin as early as possible. We will discuss strategies that you can use in your personal situation, and that can be used to understand client issues, and possible legal responses to those issues.

  • Melody D. Genson, Esquire — Since 2005, Bankruptcy laws have changed significantly and are expected to continue to change. We will discuss how these changes relate to asset protection. Simply stated, if you want to keep all of your "stuff", should you file a bankruptcy?

  • Babette B. Bach, Esquire — Ms. Bach will explain governmental programs which assist the elderly and disabled with their medical and long term care costs. The average cost of nursing home care is $6,500 a month in Florida. Effective planning can shelter assets from being depleted. V.A. benefits, Medicaid, long term care insurance, and planning tools will be taught.
